About connecting ner
CNER was founded with a vision to uplift centuries old crafts and skills by enabling the world to see it at its present time. It is a platform dedicated to the artisans of northeast India, whose flair has an innate beauty and simplicity of character, with innovation, design at its core.
These artisanal pieces blend beautifully in spaces familiar to you and make for a unique gift for a loved one too. We hope to serve those who are beginning their journey of decorating spaces that they fully now call their own.
At CNER we carry products made using the natural grasses such as rattan/cane, bamboo, water hyacinth, kauna and so on. For our wholesale items we also offer vibrant Sitalpati grass products such as mats, runners, planters to name a few.
Launched in 2020, by Aayushi Patwari CNER works directly alongside artisans to design and ideate the products that we have been able to bring to life till date. We pride ourselves on having worked and engaged with over 100 artisans and master artisans to date, who have helped us work with severely tight deadlines and never seen before creatives.
About the Founder
Aayushi Patwari has always been far away from the universe of ideation and creation. Having done her schooling from Mayo College Girls’ School, Ajmer, she went on to get her Political Science degree from Delhi University and Masters in Mass Communication. She spent a considerable number of years as a communication professional for corporates until the pandemic hit which brought her back to her roots, back to Assam. And the rest is history.
