Frequently Asked Questions

General

1. Domestic Delivery – Charges and Timing.
Free shipping for all orders above INR 2000. Delivery will take 2-15 days depending on the items ordered (especially lamps) and pincode. Please expect delay in delivery given the COVID-19 situation in India.
2. How do I track my order?
You will receive a notification from our logistics partner once your order gets shipped.
3. Where is my order processed from?
All orders get processed from our warehouses in Guwahati and North Lakhimpur, Assam.
4. Who will deliver my order?
We tie up with Shiprocket for all domestic deliveries.
5. Do you offer in-store pick-up for online orders?
We do offer in-store pick-up for online orders provided our customer visits our Guwahati or North-Lakhimpur locations (Assam).  
6. If I have placed two separate orders, can you combine the orders and offer me reduced shipping?
This totally depends on how soon you get in touch with us regarding this. We try to ship within 2 days of receiving an order and if your first order has already been shipped then we will not be able to meet this specific request.
7. What are the accepted payment methods for domestic transactions?
You can make payment in INR on Payment Gateway through credit card, Debit card, Net banking, Wallets etc.
8. What are the accepted payment methods for international transactions?
We do not offer international shipping currently.
9. How do I use Credit Notes, Gift Cards and Vouchers for making payments?
We do not offer these services currently but do contact us and we can work something out on an individual case basis.

Order

10. What if my card has been charged multiple times for the same order?
Immediately get in touch with us on connectingner@gmail.com and mail us bank receipts proof having proof of debit incase this happens. These are issues pertaining payment gateways and the bank; what might happen often is that one of the two debits from your account will come back to you, in a few days, without it ever being credited to Connecting NER.
11. Is my purchase eligible for exchange, and how do I exchange my purchase?
In case of incorrect size, we will be able to process an exchange for one time per order number subject to availability in that size. If not, then we will offer store credit.
12. When will I receive the exchanged item?
Exchanged items will be delivered within 2-15 days post receipt of the returned item. Each item returned to us for exchange or store credit will be examined by us as soon as we receive to check for any damages etc. We will either send a fresh item to replace the damaged, if that is the case, or else offer a credit voucher/store credit for the same.
13. Product Care
Our products are made using natural materials but are varnished too in order to provide a lasting solution. Make sure you dust items on a regular basis pertaining to the increasing pollution in the air that might cover up your homewares. Try using these products in more open and ventilated spaces and not damp areas where air does not pass.   Do not keep rattan or bamboo items near sources of heat.   If your product does get wet somehow, do try air drying it, for a bit under the sun too, so that it does not warp.   For any other queries please write to us on connectingner@gmail.com and we will be sure to reply as soon as possible.
