One of the biggest plus points of the LCARS Media Player is its ability to produce impressive KeyMacro-strikes. LMP2 can record keystrokes and you can save keystrokes to a file. Then you can define in what order the keystrokes shall be played back by a script. After a keystroke was performed, you can immediately play the keystroke back in any order by the script.
LMP2 also features a time map. With it, you can manipulate the playback speed of your audio or video file. You can also skip from one frame to the next and by play back in reverse. Furthermore you can define playback speed when you were recorded by a KeyMacro. That enables you to replay a recording with different playback speed and jump over your recording at any time.
If you want to have your audio or video file play backwards, you can do so by defining the direction of the playback and also the playback speed.
By using the filter control, you can sort your audio or video file by their quality. The quality can be from 0 (low) to 99 (high). If you have a video file or you want to play back an audio file, you can create a custom file of any file format. And you can define a trigger to start your audio file or your video file playback. Furthermore you can record a recording with a microphone and afterwards the recording can be played back by a script.
A lot of audio and video files are tagged with one or more keywords. You can define these keywords in the search fields. LMP2 can also sort and filter your audio files based on the tags you defined. And you can even rename files by the tags.
Via the panel of the tracks, you can manipulate the properties of an audio or video file. You can for instance set the playback speed, define the playback quality and a lot of other parameters.
With the clips, you can rename and reorder your audio files, you can view the contents of your audio files, you can define the playback speed and also the playback time. Moreover you can create and remove clips.
The player also features a front panel that is packed with function buttons and menus to control it. The more you open the menus, the more buttons and menu options you get. You can also perform actions by pressing F1 and F2.
LMP2 has a “player state” that can be defined in the player settings. This enables you to reset the audio and video parameters
